Your marketing probably isn't broken.
But parts of it might be.

Helping local businesses find and fix the gaps in their marketing. From enquiries that aren't being followed up and CRMs nobody uses properly, to websites that need attention, unfinished automations and marketing jobs that keep getting pushed down the list.

Does any of this sound familiar?

01
You bought the software. Nobody really set it up.

The CRM, email platform or automation tool looked useful at the time. Months later, you're still paying for it and only using 20% of it.

02
Enquiries come in. Then it gets a bit fuzzy.

Someone sends a form, asks for a quote or calls. If they don't buy immediately, there isn't always a proper follow-up process.

03
You've got customers. You're just not staying in touch with them.

There may be years of past customers sitting in accounting software, inboxes, spreadsheets or a CRM without any real nurture or referral process.

04
Your website hasn't kept up.

Nothing catastrophic. It's just dated, missing services, awkward on mobile or has a list of changes nobody has got around to.

05
Marketing jobs keep hanging around.

Someone needs to own the website update, CRM setup, campaign, email sequence, automation or marketing project and get it finished.

Sometimes you don't need another agency. You need someone to sort out what's actually going on.

Most businesses already have marketing happening. The problem is often that parts of it are disconnected, unfinished or not being used properly. I help work out where the gaps are, what actually needs fixing, and what is worth leaving alone.

Stack Shift is operated by Marco Govender, your Auckland-based marketing partner helping local service businesses find and fix the gaps in how their marketing works.

That might mean improving how people find you online. It might be sorting out a website that has fallen behind, fixing the way enquiries are followed up, getting more value from a CRM or marketing tool, or taking ownership of a project that has been sitting on the list for too long.

You work directly with one local point of contact who looks at the wider picture, works out what actually needs attention, and helps get the right work done. Behind that relationship sits specialist support across search, websites, development, social media and marketing systems.

One relationship. Fewer gaps. More gets done.

An Australian safety training organisation wanted to protect its search visibility as more customers began using AI platforms to research courses, compare providers and find trusted answers. The campaign went beyond standard SEO, improving on-page content, schema markup, FAQ structure, authority signals and guidance for AI crawlers.

Within four months, the website recorded 1,552 sessions from AI platforms, attracted 757 new users, generated 346 key events and delivered 46 purchases attributed to AI-driven search. It is a clear example of how SEO/GEO can help a well-established business stay visible across both traditional search and the newer places customers now look for answers.
